Patented Dual Ledge System:
Turbo Cookware™ has in essence 3 cooking areas. the cooking surface of the base, the wire rack and mesh rack. Each of these areas cooks within or benefits from being connected to the dome cover and therefore fully benefits from the Steamcooking ™ process. The 3 areas are possible because of the raised ridge on the ledge, which separates where the cover sits (outer area of the ridge), and in the process creates an area for the rack (s) to sit (inner area of the ridge).
The dual ledge system which is incorporated into the base allows the cover to rest in its own area (making a vapor seal). The 2nd separate area of the ledge holds the steam racks. Two completely separate “ledges” allow the functionality of the racks without effecting where the cover makes contact with the base.
